STUDENT
FEEDBACK
FORMS

Temple University Institutional Research and Assessment receives feedback from students about their courses and instructors through Student Feedback Forms. SFFs are anonymous to encourage students to be as candid as possible on how their courses at Temple could improve in the future.

The goal of this project was to design an identity of marketing materials for SFF in order to get students more engaged and excited about the forms. This includes creating assets like icons and templates that can be used and designs in various different ways (emails, Instagram, etc.). These assets should be easy to import and put together into Canva, so that the designs are accesible for the IRA team to use without needing to use the Adobe Creative Suite.

RESEARCH & FIRST ITERATIONS

The beginning of the process was doing research on what content SFF already has on social media and on their website. It was also important to see what other branches and offices at Temple Univerisity were doing with their social media and website to understand how to best interact and connect with Temple students.

FIRST FINISH

After a favorite option was chosen, then it was expanding more on that option for the brand. This round mainly focused on font explorations, as well as creating finalized graphics for the team to use in Canva to create Instagram and email layouts. For the Instagram posts, it was important to test out how much text could fit just in case a huge body is ever needed. Ultimately, the team decided that the fonts from the first iteration was their favorite, so we went with the original.

FINAL ASSETS

With the brand already been decided, it was just a matter of creating more assets for a more cohesive brand. This included a social media campaign of quotes (that are fake, obviously) from students about their professors. With the quotes being fun and quirky, we hope that it drives enagement and gets students even more interested in filling out their SFFs. Templates & assets were uploaded onto Canva for the SFF team to easily use and design their own Instagram posts and email graphics.
