About me — STIINKEN

Teva is a multidisciplinary illustrator and designer from Philadelphia, PA. She has her BFA in Illustration & Emerging Media from Tyler School of Art & Architecture, Temple University. She has worked on various projects small and big, from editorial illustration to murals. Some of her clients include Jones Knowles Ritchie, Temple University, AIGA Philadelphia, Philadelphia Inquirer, Fleisher Art Memorial, and Friends of Hackett.

Her cultural background as a Vietnamese-American and growing up in Philly are other inspirations for her work, exploring folklore, history, and politics. She is also a big film nerd and avid sports fan, incorporating pop culture into her work. While she mainly work digitally, she incorporate analog textures and technique into her work. When she’s not staring at a screen, She likes to use inks, acrylics, riso, and screenprint.
